This is my first blog
that I have ever made, so I was a little confused on the purpose of blogging
and why people do it. As I started my research on blogging I found four reasons
why blogging is important and why I should get into it and start my own. First
off it drives traffic to your website, increases your SE0/SERP, it also
positions your brand as an industry leader, and develops better customer
relationships.
I learned the importance of making my blog the
foundation for all of my social media platforms. By posting different videos,
articles and making comments on subjects that interest you, you will attract
people or even companies to that have the same interests/ideas as you do.“A blog is a website with frequently updated content about a specific keyword- or topic-oriented topic.” (blogspot).
Going into business/communications I have learned that Blogging is an incredible way to benefit yourself in the business field. Through my research I found that “Blogging provides an endless window of opportunity for your business. When you write a blog, and choose the blog’s purpose, you can enlighten your readers to who you are, what your business is about and even talk about the services you provide. Think of your website as a cool breeze moving through the world — every time you write a blog on your website, you are allowing a house or business to open a “window”, allowing your information to be passed into their world around them. Your blog will allow you to reach your target audience, people who need your services or product and allow your world to reach theirs.” (Jackson, Beth)

I am going into Law & Politics, and like you, I have seen that blogging can be very influential in the political world. You are able to let people know who you are, your credentials, your political party, moral and values you stand for, etc. It seems to be a great tool.
